Vincent "Vinny" J. Pascale, age 89, passed away peacefully at Winchester Hospital on September 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith G. (Dorey) Pascale, with whom he shared over 64 incredible years of marriage prior to her passing this past March.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on February 23, 1937, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Rose (Egidio) Pascale. Vinny was raised in Dorchester & Cambridge and graduated from Boston English High School with the Class of 1956. He met his beloved wife, Judy, during summer vacation at Revere Beach. It did not take long for them to realize they had found something special, and they were married in 1962. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on family, love, and unwavering devotion to one another.

Vinny had a lifelong passion for cars and was gifted with mechanical ability which led him to a successful career in autobody repair. After working several years at McNeilly Oldsmobile and Foreign Motors, in 1978 he opened his own autobody business, Foreign Body Works in Somerville, Ma. with two partners Richard & Michael Cella. Vinny excelled at his business and forged a legacy marked by decades of hard work, lifelong friendships, and legendary afternoon lunches at the shop.

Outside of work, Vinny enjoyed restoring antique cars and took particular pride in his 1937 Packard, a car that shared his birth year. He and his family loved bringing it to car shows and proudly driving it in local parades, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Family was always Vinny's top priority. No matter how hard his workday was, he made a point to be home by six o'clock for dinner, even if it meant returning to the shop later that night. He was dedicated to being present and ensuring his family was always cared for.

Many of Vinny’s fondest memories were spent on the water on his boat, fishing with his sons and friends in Boston Harbor or visiting George’s and other harbor islands. Few trips out on the boat began without first stopping at Demet’s Donuts or Leone’s subshop to get everyone donuts for breakfast or subs for lunch, emphasizing Vinny’s priority of family, meals and time together over all other things.

Vinny’s love for the water eventually led the family to the lake. In the early 1980s, Vinny and Judy purchased a home on Lake Winnipesaukee, which became the backdrop for many treasured family memories. Vinny loved taking his boys and friends out on the lake during the summer and snowmobiling during the winter. Every year, the family eagerly anticipated the vacation time they would spend there together.

Later in life, Vinny’s world revolved around his seven grandchildren. Whether he was taking them out on the boat, sharing his secret fishing spots, or taking them to carnivals, bowling, and dinners, he cherished every moment with them. He showed up for everything that mattered to them, traveling all over to attend their activities including hockey, lacrosse, baseball, field hockey, figure skating, scouting, band and school events, he was always eager to watch them grow, never missing an important milestone. Sleepovers at Nana and Grampy’s were a favorite tradition for the kids, and Grampy always made it fun with movies & his famous popcorn and taking them on a mystery ride in his big red truck. He was especially pleased to have taken the entire family on multiple trips to Disney World relishing in the joy and excitement brought to all.

Cooking was another of Vinny's great passions. Vinny's homemade sausage, pizza gaina, and pesto became legendary among family and friends. He took great pride in teaching his grandchildren how to make his special family dishes. He got immense satisfaction from feeding the people he loved and found great joy in seeing them gathered around the table to savor his cooking.

Above all else, Vinny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was gregarious, kind, and endlessly generous with his time, energy, and love. He put family and friends before himself and cultivated relationships that endured throughout his life. The memories he created were never accidental - they were meaningful, intentional, and rooted in the deep love he had for those around him. His presence enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him, and his legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family will continue to live on through the many people whose lives he touched.

Vinny is survived by his loving children, Philip Pascale & his wife Rosemary of Burlington and Glen Pascale and his wife Kristen of Westborough; his cherished grandchildren, Michael, John, Julianne, Vincent, Nicholas, Anthony, and Christopher Pascale; and his wife Judy’s special cousin who was like his sister, Nancy Marshall of Reading, as well as many other dear relatives and friends.

He was the beloved brother of the late Joseph and Pat Pascale and Paul and Loretta Pascale.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday, September 21st from 4 pm until 7 pm at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington. Funeral begins from the Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 22nd at 9 am with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 am at St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
