Timothy Michael McNeil a longtime resident of Burlington passed away at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington on Monday evening March 6, 2017. He was 60 years old. Tim was born in Encino, CA. He was the son of the late Laurence and Jean McNeil. He was raised in Burlington and a 1974 graduate of Shawsheen Tech. He had a career as a welder in the automotive industry which he loved. Tim loved cars whether they be classics or muscle cars – cars where his passion. He loved to drive and road trips to California where his favorite. When his children were young he would take them on trips to Florida and New Jersey. Tim had a wonderful circle of friends that he was very close to and were an important part of his life. Throughout his long illness Tim maintained a positive attitude and his wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed by all those who loved him.

Tim was the father of Sean of Burlington, Hollie Faretra &her husband Nick of Tyngsboro, Tiffany of CT, Michael of Los Angeles, CA, and Timothy of Los Angeles, CA. Brother of Larry & his wife Debbie of Wakefield and David & his wife Donna of Lowell. Grandfather of Shane Donovan, Nico & Dominic Faretra and Olivia Jefferson. Son of the late Laurence & Jean McNeil. Also survived by many cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Sunday, March 12 from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Concluding with Funeral Services at 5:30 p.m. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
