Robert Earl Hunt passed away at Royal Meadow Nursing Home in North Reading on Saturday morning, August 19, 2023, following a long illness.  He was 75 years old.

Bobby was born in Winchester. He was raised and educated in Burlington.  Bobby was one of five children born to the late Earl and Margaret Hunt.    He worked at Houghton Mifflin, in the shipping and receiving dept., when it was located in Burlington, for many years.  Prior to that he worked at Record Wagon in Woburn.

Bobby was a quiet man who liked the simple things in life.  He loved listening to all kinds of music with "old time rock and roll oldies" being his favorite.  He had a passion for old cars and could be seen driving around town in his 1956 turquoise chevy with the distinctive wing on the end of the car.  He liked family gatherings and cookouts were his favorites. Bobby will be remembered for his low key and easy-going personality.

Bobby was the husband of the late Theresa (Hancock).  He was the father of Jennifer Patterson of Burlington.  Brother of Susan Galleguillos of Burlington, Karen Pelletier of FL, Wayne Hunt of Burlington and the late Richard Hunt.  Bobby is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private.
