Paul Francis Cronin I, age 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Burlington on April 10, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

He grew up in Burlington, and was the third of six children of the late John F. and Kathleen A. (Larkin) Cronin, who both passed away in 2009 at home, in the addition that Paul had built for them.  His parents instilled in him the value of family and he grew up very close to them, his siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was a master carpenter and a very talented artist.  He graduated from the Butera School of Art specializing in Western calligraphy.  Paul enjoyed deep sea fishing and riding his Harley.  He went to bike week at Laconia for many years until his health would not allow it.  He was devoted to his own family, first as a single dad of three children then his wife Allyson and their grandchildren all together as a blended family.

Paul is survived by his wife of 24 years, Allyson (White) Cronin, Nila Cronin and her two boys Jayden and Camden of Leominster, Jacob, Jeyana, Siarra, and MaKenna Cronin of Burlington, two sisters Colleen Lundgren and her husband Bill of Burlington and Maureen Bousquet and her husband Brian of East Bridgewater, sister-in-law Cheryl Cronin of Arizona, cousin Kim Abkarian of Wakefield, his favorite uncle Walter Larkin with whom he spent a lot of time in California as a young adult, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his two children Nichole Cronin in 2007 and Paul Cronin II in 2016, three siblings Jackie Cronin in 2011, Kacey Cronin in 2019 and David Cronin in 2020, and his father-in-law Alan White also in 2020, who lived with him for the last years of his life.

Arrangements:  Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington on Thursday April 25th from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.  His Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 7 p.m.  At the request of the family, burial will take place privately.
