Lori M. Berry (Lyons), 53, Of Galax, VA and former New Hampshire resident passed away at her home in

Virginia.

She was born in Dorchester, the daughter of Mary Ann (Nuzzo) Lyons of Burlington and the late Richard

S. Carnahan. Lori was educated in the Burlington school system and graduated from Burlington High

School with the class of 1988.

Lori was a dedicated gardener whose passion for creating stunning landscapes brought joy to her

neighbors and beauty to her community. Lori's green thumb and love of nature were evident in her

meticulously tended flower garden, where she found solace and happiness.

From a young age, Lori found comfort in the drama and intrigue of General Hospital finding

entertainment in the fictional world of Port Charles. When not caught up in the drama of soap operas,

Lori enjoyed reading books, primarily thrillers and mysteries.

Lori's compassion extended beyond plants and television dramas to her furry friends, as she adored cats

and dogs alike. She found companionship and unconditional love in her pets, and her home was always

filled with warmth and laughter thanks to their presence.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Berry, her grandparents Carmella and Alphonse Nuzzo,

and her adopted father Gerald P. Lyons.

In addition to her loving mother, Lori is survived by her sisters Kathleen Lyons of Burlington, and Jennifer

Sonker and her husband Jason of Bellingham Washington.

All services were private and at the convienience of her family.
