Linda Joyce Graham was the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Halloran) Graham. Linda lived in Concord, MA in her younger years and graduated from Minuteman Technical School.
Linda made the Northeast ARC, Burlington House her home in December 2005. Over the many years that followed, she became a cherished part of the Burlington House family. Linda was a woman of remarkable courage and strength who never gave up. She faced life's challenges with determination and fought bravely until the very end. Those who loved and cared for Linda did everything they could to surround her with comfort, compassion, and love.
Linda found happiness in many things, including the color purple, music, shopping, the beach, Disney movies, and animals. Her favorite song was “Stand by Me.” Linda was bright, funny, persevering, and very ladylike. She took great pride in her hair, nails, and clothes and loved looking her best.
Her faith was also very important to her. Linda loved attending Mass at St. Malachy’s in Burlington. When she was unable to attend in person, she enjoyed watching Mass on television.
More than anything, Linda loved the people in her life. She cared deeply for her staff and friends at Shore Collaborative. She also had a special place in her heart for the staff and nurses at Burlington House, who spent many years with her. She appreciated the doctors who provided care for her and especially enjoyed making cookies to bring to her doctors.
Linda was kind, caring, and thoughtful toward her housemates, often looking out for those around her. Her ability to care about others, even while facing her own challenges, was one of the many things that made Linda so special.
Linda lived a beautiful life, surrounded by people who cared deeply for her. Her courage, strength, kindness, faith, and unmistakable personality will remain in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Linda will be deeply missed, but she will never be forgotten. May she rest peacefully in God's loving arms.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 15 at 10 AM at Saint Malachys Church, 99 Bedford St., Burlington PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will follow in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
