Laura Elvira Stubbs, age 86, passed away on April 11, 2023.  Laura was born on April 28, 1936, in Pittsfield, MA, the daughter of the late Egidio and Lucia (Eramo) Altobelli. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1953 and worked at New England Telephone Company in Boston in the 50's and 60's. She settled with her family in Burlington, Mass, where she was an active member of the community for over 50 years. Laura found great pleasure in entertaining friends and family around their pool, planning for family gatherings and watching her grandchildren in their favorite sports and activities. Laura was the beloved wife of the late Charles Stubbs for 56 years, whom she missed dearly over the last two years. She was the loving mother of Cheryl Mendrala and her husband Gary of West Springfield, and Glen Stubbs and his wife Jill of Framingham. She was the caring grandmother of Samuel, William and Luke. Laura was predeceased by her siblings, Julia Pinyone, Mary Allen, Pauline Sweener, and Edigio Altobelli Jr.
