Karen Duggan of Burlington passed away on August 23rd after recently being diagnosed with cancer.  Karen was a graduate of Burlington High School, Class of 1975, and attended MassArt and Salem State College.  She was pre-deceased by her parents, Robert and Theresa Duggan of Burlington, and her niece, Brianna of Burlington.  Karen is survived by her sister Maureen, brothers Kevin and Shawn, nieces Tayla, Marlea, Shaylinn, and Hunter, and nephew Dylan.

Karen enjoyed playing board games with her family, reading, and spending time near the ocean.  She was a kind-hearted person who will be missed by all who knew her, especially by her only sister, Maureen.

At the request of the family, services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Cancer Society in Karen's memory by anyone who is interested in helping with the fight against cancer.
