Joanne Anderson passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, In Reading, Wednesday, October 28th at the age of 89.

Joanne was the daughter of the late Martha and Joseph Coady, and the wife of the late Ken Anderson. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Kenneth and Stephen, and was particularly proud to be the sister of the late Brian and Stephen Coady.

Family was at the heart of Joanne’s life. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Anne Murray of Burlington, by her nephews Kevin and his wife Anita and their children, Paul, Michael and Kayden also David and his wife Jill all of North Carolina. Joanne also held a special place in the family as godmother to Kevin and David's late younger brother Paul. She grew up very close to her cousins who she considered sisters, Shirley and her husband, David Gagne also Margaret and Tom Cunniff all from Foxborough. She Also had a special friendship with her neighbor Rose and her husband Donny Melanson.

Joanne was fortunate to be surrounded by people who cared deeply for her. She was especially grateful for the friendship and support of Anne during the last years. Yomayra and her son Freedom provided Joanne with wonderful care, kindness and companionship during her final years.

Joanne worked at Textron in Wilmington for many years before retiring. More than anything though, she will be remembered simply for the person she was; a happy person who loved her family. She took great joy and pride in the people closest to her, and her warmth will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
