Hui Chong passed on  Saturday, May 6, 2023.  She was 80 years old.  Hui was born and raised in Yusung, South Korea.  She married Pyong Chong and they had two sons, Sydney and Simon.  When her sons were teenagers, the family immigrated to the United States.  They resided in Woburn and then in Clinton.  She had a very strong Christian faith and was a very active member of the United Methodist Church in Medford.  She had eight siblings.  Three have passed, two sisters and a brother also immigrated and live in the United States and a brother and sister live in South Korea.  She kept in touch with all of them and returned to South Korea a number of times to visit with family and friends that she had left behind.  Family, especially her husband and two sons, was everything to Hui.  She will be lovingly remembered by all.

Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home on Sunday, May 7 from 6-8pm.  Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 9 at 12:30pm. Followed by a 1:30 graveside service at Woodbrook Cemetery, Salem Street in Woburn.
