In Loving Memory of

Dennis J. Nelson of Burlington, MA passed away on Friday April

5, 2024, at the age of 71. Dennis was born in Stoneham on

March 26th 1953 to James D. Nelson and Vera A.( Rufrano)

Nelson. He grew up and was educated in Burlington.

Dennis owned a catering business, "Dennis's Catering", for over

30 years. He was an amazing father and grandfather who was

always right there when you needed him. "Papa Den" babysat

throughout the week he loved spending time with his girls. He was

a man of few words, but always had something quick to say to

make you laugh.

Dennis is survived by his son, Joseph Nelson and his daughter

Vanessa Nelson-Raymond and husband Ron. As well as his

grandchildren - Julia, Jemma, and Cameron. Dennis also

survived by his 6 siblings, David Nelson and his wife Roberta of

Billerica, Linda Newcomb and her husband Frank of Sharon,

Diane Nelson of Burlington, James Nelson, Jr. of Burlington,

Stephen Nelson and his wife Sherri of Billerica, and Laurie

Sweeney and her husband Larry of Burlington. As well as many

nieces and nephews.
