David Paul
Fioretti
September 12, 1952 – January 15, 2026
David P. Fioretti, 73, of Burlington, MA, peacefully passed away on January 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
David was born on September 12, 1952, in Everett, MA, the youngest of six children—beginning life as everyone's baby, fully adored and lovingly attended to. He carried a deep love for his Italian heritage, honoring both past and present with pride. An unforgettable character with a larger-than-life personality, David was a true Renaissance man, most notable for his mastery of music, art, intellect, and skilled trades.
A self-taught musician and artist, David will forever be associated with guitars and the music he loved. He drew inspiration from artists across genres, from The Beatles and Steely Dan to Frank Sinatra and Wes Montgomery, and shared this passion freely with others. One of his great prides was owning Island Music in Wakefield, MA, during the 1970s—a music store ahead of its time that gave musicians access to new instruments and served as a cool hub for collaboration and connection.
Professionally, beginning in the 1990s, David successfully owned and operated Consolidated Appraisal Services of Burlington, MA, alongside his dedicated wife, Carol, building a life rooted in partnership and shared success. Continuing his lifelong theme of connection, generosity, and fun, David employed many family members and friends throughout the years.
David had a lifelong love for the beach, spending summers with family on Old Cape Cod in his younger years and later finding peace in ocean-view sunsets while vacationing in Melbourne, Florida.
Well known for his quick wit and unmatched sense of humor, David charmed any audience, leaving memories to last a lifetime. One of his many expressions of love was playful teasing and the uniquely bestowed nicknames he gave to those closest to him. As he frequently said, "Often imitated, never duplicated."
David was predeceased by his parents, Carmine and Theresa Fioretti; his brothers Frank, Michael, and Robert Fioretti; his sister Nancy (Fioretti) Giardino; and his grandson Jacob Rappaport.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Carol Fioretti; his sister Louise Fioretti; his daughters Sandra (Fioretti) Loughlin and Alison Fioretti; his stepdaughters Amy Berry and Brenda (Berry) Rappaport; his grandchildren Gabrielle, Matthew, Brian, and Vivienne Loughlin, and Addison and Drew Rappaport; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember him with love, laughter, and admiration.
David's legacy is one of creativity, humor, curiosity, and love—a life lived fully and entirely his way, impossible to forget, and with a family forever proud of him.
