Claire L. (Pavey) Albertelli, a longtime resident of Burlington, passed away at the Woodbriar of Wilmington Nursing Home on Friday afternoon, February 24, 2006. She as 81 years old.

Mrs. Albertelli was born and raised in Arlington. She was a graduate of Arlington High School. She went on graduate from the Tewksbury Nursing School. Mrs. Albertelli specialized in Geriatric Nursing. She worked at both the Mediplex in Tewksbury and the former Glendale Nursing Home in Woburn. She also worked for over 20 years as an operator for New England Telephone.

Mrs. Albertelli loved music. She enjoyed playing the piano and could play any type of music from classical to ragtime. She also had an interest in crafts and enjoyed both pottery and ceramics. She had a great love of animals and the outdoors. Mrs. Albertelli was the Past President of the Burlington Garden Club. She had many memorable camping trips with her family. Mrs. Albertelli's family was very important to her and she treasured the times she spent with her children, her grandchildren, and her many special friends.

Mrs. Albertelli is the beloved mother of Todd B. & his wife Linda of Merrimack NH, Dale C. & her husband Stephen Larson of Woburn, Carla N. Albertelli, and the late Alma Doucette. Longtime companion of the late George Smith. Loving grandmother of Lauren and Jill Doucette, Chris and Michael Albertelli, Cody Dudley. Mother-in-law of Gary Doucette of Woburn. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 9:00 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret's Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
