Ann Marie (McBarron) Gelinas passed away peacefully in Wheat Ridge, Colorado on August 25 at the age of 86. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Donald Gelinas of Burlington, MA. She was a loving mother to her children, Donna O'Hayre & her husband Tim, Kevin Gelinas & his wife Kathy, and the late Andrew Gelinas. Ann was grandmother to Matthew Gelinas, Rachel Neal, Keeley & Blake O'Hayre and Andy Gelinas.

Born in Boston, MA in 1937, Ann grew up in Dorchester, MA with her five siblings Christine (McBarron) Tosi, Janet (McBarron) Frazer, Michael McBarron, the late Joan (McBarron) Mandill and the late William McBarron.

Ann married Don in 1960 and they moved to Burlington, MA in 1963 where they raised their three children. She enjoyed vacationing during the summers at Cape Cod with her family where they would camp, spend time at the beach and sail. Ann also enjoyed traveling the world with Don and their friends after their children were grown. Ann will be remembered as a nurturing, generous person always there for those in need.

Graveside Service to be held at Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington, MA, Thursday, September 7 at 2pm.
