Alice (Schultz) Molinari passed away on October 14, surrounded by her loving family. She was 86.
Born in South Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Niedzwiecki) Schultz. She was the loving Ma to Judith Gatta and her husband John of Woburn and Benjamin Molinari Jr. of New Hampshire. She was the beloved, crazy Babcia to Anthony Gatta of Arizona and Gianna Gatta of Woburn. She was the sister of Irene Kraatz of New York, Anne Ericson of Ashburnham and Ida Schultz of Pepperell, as well as the late Mildred Lovgren, Joseph “Sonny” Schultz Jr. and baby Josephine. She was the ex-wife to the late Benjamin Molinari.
Alice wanted to be known for her frugality, she valued things she felt other people did not. Saving the planet was important to her, you would never hear the end of it if you put recycling in the garbage. She absolutely loved gardening, even as she was dying, she insisted on caring for her flowers. Alice had such a unique personality, she was crazy, loud and carefree. Everyone who was ever lucky enough to know her has a story about her.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations in Alice’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675. In her own words prior to her death, “Wounded Warriors need donations more than I need flowers!”
The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
